Are you a Superstar on the communications stage, looking for a new arena and audience? Look no further. We are seeking an energetic, collaborative, and experienced communications professional with a passion for internal communications. 

As Alektum Groups Internal Communications Manager, you will work with diverse internal customers to create messaging and plans that engage and connect our employees across Europe to business purposes and needs. You will develop and drive a comprehensive internal communications strategy that educates, informs and inspires leaders and employees across regions and functions.

The Role

You will be part of the newly established Corporate Communications and Marketing department, supporting the entire organisation with communications initiatives on a group level. The position will report to the SVP Corporate Communications and Marketing.

The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter who brings a creative storytelling sensibility to every project. You must have a strong track record in producing high-quality, crisp messaging and presentations, a demonstrated ability to work with highly confidential information, exemplary project management skills and an eye for quality and detail. To be successful in this role we believe that you are driven and experienced and enjoy working on both a strategic and operational level.

Responsibilities

  • Write, create, amend, approve and publish stories
  • Develop and implement an internal communications strategy that supports the company’s business strategy, culture, mission, vision and values
  • Responsible for development and maintenance of internal communication channels, tools, systems and platforms
  • Identify and create innovative ways to communicate that inform and engage employees. Plan and execute with internal and external resources to ensure success, appropriate timing and consistent communication 
  • Contribute to setting the editorial calendar - Develop story ideas and proactively seek content that connects employees to our business and our values
  • Responsible for development and execution of recurring employee communication and activities (e.g. Townhalls, quarterly briefs, newsletters etc.)
  • Development and coordination of Employee Branding, Employer Branding/ Recruitment communications material, content and concepts in coordination with HR
  • Develop relationships with key content contact points and proactively collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure consistent and high-quality communication
  • Develop and roll-out agreed internal projects and events
  • Establish and track metrics that link employee communications programs to employee productivity, satisfaction and organisation performance
  • Assist with other communication efforts as needed

Who are you and what are your skills?

  • You are a positive force with a high level of engagement and you love what you do
  • You have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Swedish, with the ability to adopt style, tone and voice
  • You are used to develop and deliver strategic communications plans and initiatives
  • You have both operational and strategic communication skills and experience
  • You have a flexible and adaptable work style and respond quickly and efficiently
  • You thrive in a fast-paced organisation where you must juggle multiple, simultaneous projects and activities and meet tight deadlines while still paying attention to detail
  • You are a team player with the ability to work collaboratively, and you like to manage projects
  • Experience of change communication
  • You are used to work with one or several tools in the Adobe creative package
  • You hold a relevant University degree preferably in Communications, Journalism or Marketing
  • You have 5-10 years of relevant working and writing experience in communications, journalism, marketing or equivalent, preferably from an international organisation
